Early Thursday morning, residents and customers in Bogo City faced inconvenience as the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) Bogo branch temporarily closed due to operational problems. This unexpected closure affected those planning to do their banking transactions locally.
Despite this, the DBP reassured the public that all other branches, including BLUs (Branch Lite Units) and the Financial Center, remain open to serve clients from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on October 23, 2025. Customers are encouraged to visit nearby branches for their banking needs while the Bogo branch undergoes maintenance or resolves its issues.
For the convenience of customers, DBP has provided an updated list of open branches and ATM locations on their website. This helps clients easily find accessible banking centers in their area and avoid unnecessary trips.
The Development Bank of the Philippines is regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), ensuring that banking operations follow strict guidelines to protect consumers’ rights and financial security. Customers experiencing issues or wishing to provide feedback can reach out to the DBP Customer Experience Management Department on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. via email at customerservice@dbp.ph.
Additionally, the BSP’s Financial Consumer Protection Department is available for assistance through phone or email. For urgent concerns such as lost ATM cards or transaction problems, DBP offers 24/7 hotline numbers, including a trunk line, direct line, and a toll-free domestic number to provide immediate support.
