Strong rains and flooding brought by severe weather conditions forced several branches of the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) across the Visayas and Palawan to temporarily close on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

In an advisory, DBP announced that the following branches are closed for the day due to inclement weather:

  • DBP Antique Branch

  • DBP Bogo Branch

  • DBP Carcar Branch

  • DBP Cebu Branch

  • DBP Iloilo Branch

  • DBP Jaro Branch

  • DBP Mandaue Branch

  • DBP Pototan Branch

  • DBP Puerto Princesa Branch

  • DBP Talisay Branch

  • DBP Taytay-Palawan Branch

  • DBP Toledo Branch

  • DBP Alegria BLU

  • DBP Lapu-Lapu BLU

  • DBP Naga BLU

The bank added that the closures are part of safety measures to protect both employees and clients as heavy rains continue to affect several parts of the Visayas region and Palawan.

Meanwhile, DBP branches in Bacolod, Kabankalan, and San Carlos are also closed in observance of their local holidays.

DBP assured clients that all other branches, Business Lending Units (BLUs), and the Financial Center remain open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to serve customers’ banking needs.

Clients are advised to check the latest list of open DBP branches through the official website at www.dbp.ph before visiting to avoid inconvenience.

For feedback, service concerns, or emergencies, customers may reach the DBP Customer Experience Management Department from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., via customerservice@dbp.ph.

As weather disturbances continue to affect the country, the bank urged clients to prioritize safety and use online banking channels whenever possible for convenience and security.
