As communities recover from recent earthquakes and face ongoing power interruptions, the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has announced the temporary closure of three branches on Monday, October 13, 2025, to ensure the safety of its customers and staff.

Earthquake safety and power outage cause closures

The following DBP branches and branch-lite unit (BLU) will not operate today:

  • DBP Aroroy BLU – Closed due to a power outage

  • DBP Bogo Branch – Closed as a precaution following recent earthquake activity

  • DBP Malita Branch – Also temporarily closed due to earthquake precautions

These temporary closures are part of the bank’s safety measures to address risks from natural disasters, particularly in areas affected by recent seismic activity and utility disruptions.

Other DBP branches remain open

All other DBP branches, BLUs, and the main Financial Center nationwide remain open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to serve customers’ banking needs. Clients are encouraged to check the bank’s website for the full list of open branches through this link:
