Several branches of the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) are temporarily closed today, October 2, 2025 (Thursday), due to local holidays, power interruptions, and earthquake safety precautions.

For many residents relying on DBP for daily transactions, the temporary closures may cause inconvenience, but the bank assures customers that all other branches remain open and ready to serve.

Branch closures due to local holidays and safety reasons

According to DBP’s advisory, the following branches are closed in observance of local holidays in their respective areas:

  • DBP Solano Branch

  • DBP San Jose, Dinagat Islands Branch

Meanwhile, two branches in Masbate—the DBP Masbate Branch and DBP Aroroy Branch Lite Unit (BLU)—have also been temporarily closed due to power outages affecting local operations.

In addition, the DBP Bogo Branch in Cebu is closed as a precautionary measure following recent earthquake activity in the region.

Regular banking continues in other branches

Despite these closures, all other DBP branches, Branch Lite Units (BLUs), and the Financial Center are operating as usual from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Customers are advised to plan their visits accordingly or use digital banking platforms for urgent transactions, if available.
