By becoming PhilGAP-certified, farmers can access larger markets such as hotels, major supermarkets like SM and Robinsons, fast-food chains including Jollibee, and even international buyers, thanks to alignment with ASEAN GAP standards. Certification also helps farmers achieve better prices for their crops, reduce post-harvest losses through proper handling and storage, and ensure safer working conditions with proper training and knowledge.
