Early Monday morning, customers planning to visit certain Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) branches were met with unexpected closures.
On October 6, 2025, the DBP Sta. Cruz branch in Davao was closed in observance of a local holiday. Meanwhile, the DBP Aroroy Banking and Loan Unit (BLU) shut operations due to a power outage. The DBP Bogo branch also remained closed as a precaution following recent earthquake activity in the area.
Despite these closures, most DBP branches, BLUs, and the Financial Center remained open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to serve banking customers across the country.
DBP advises clients to check the updated list of open branches through their official website to avoid inconvenience. Customers can visit https://www.dbp.ph/…/atm-branches/list-of-branches-open/ for the latest information.
For inquiries, feedback, or complaints, the DBP Customer Experience Management Department is available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Clients may send emails to customerservice@dbp.ph. Additionally, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Financial Consumer Protection Department can be reached at (02) 708-7087 or consumeraffairs@bsp.gov.ph.
For urgent matters like lost ATM cards or other immediate ATM concerns, DBP offers 24/7 assistance through these hotlines: trunk line (02) 8-818-9511 local 2542 or 2580; direct line (02) 8-812-6378; and domestic toll-free number 1-800-10-327-8888.
DBP reminds clients to stay informed and plan ahead to avoid disruptions in their banking needs.
