DBP Closes Ormoc, Tacloban for Local Holidays; Bogo Branch Faces Operational Issues.

In the busy towns of Ormoc and Tacloban, residents woke up to quieter bank halls today as the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) temporarily closed its branches in these cities to honor local holidays. Meanwhile, the DBP branch in Bogo City also remains closed due to operational problems.

Despite these temporary closures, most DBP branches, including their Business Loan Units (BLUs) and the main Financial Center, continue to serve customers today, October 20, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The bank encourages clients to check the updated list of open branches and ATMs on their official website to plan their transactions accordingly. Customers can visit https://www.dbp.ph/…/atm-branches/list-of-branches-open/ for the latest updates.

DBP operates under the supervision of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), ensuring that banking services remain safe and reliable across the country.

For feedback or complaints, clients may contact the DBP Customer Experience Management Department from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through customerservice@dbp.ph. Alternatively, the BSP Financial Consumer Protection Department is available via phone at (02) 708-7087 or email consumeraffairs@bsp.gov.ph.

In cases of lost cards or urgent ATM issues, DBP offers 24/7 assistance through several hotlines: trunk line (02) 8-818-9511 local 2542 or 2580; direct line (02) 8-812-6378; and a domestic toll-free number 1-800-10-327-8888.

Customers are advised to stay informed and prepared as the bank continues to support their financial needs while respecting local customs and addressing operational challenges.
