With pride and gratitude, the Department of Agriculture–Bureau of Plant Industry (DA-BPI) celebrated the oath-taking of its newly appointed and promoted employees on October 27, 2025. The ceremony was led by BPI Director Gerald Glenn F. Panganiban, Ph.D., who administered the oath and delivered a heartfelt message to the agency’s workforce.
Director Panganiban urged the employees to continue serving with integrity, unity, and passion, emphasizing that every public servant must “always give their best in every opportunity to serve the Filipino people.” His message highlighted the agency’s commitment to excellence and teamwork as vital pillars in achieving agricultural progress.

The ceremony symbolizes DA-BPI’s continuous effort to strengthen its human resources — ensuring that the agency remains capable of meeting the growing needs of the country’s agricultural sector. By filling key positions with dedicated and skilled professionals, the Bureau aims to deliver more efficient, science-based, and farmer-focused services.
This milestone also reflects the government’s broader goal of building a “Bagong Pilipinas” — one that prioritizes agricultural growth, food security, and the empowerment of Filipino farmers.
