The clock is ticking for the lucky winners of the PalaFishipan Trivia Contest, held last September 2025 during the 62nd Fish Conservation Week celebration. Organizers are reminding participants to submit their prize requirements before the October 29, 2025 deadline.
The contest, organized as part of the nationwide campaign to promote sustainable fishing and marine resource protection, drew strong participation from students, fishers, and coastal communities. It tested the public’s knowledge of fish species, conservation laws, and the importance of responsible fishing practices — a key message under this year’s theme of protecting the country’s aquatic resources for future generations.
According to event organizers, several winners have yet to complete their prize claim process. “We encourage all winners to send in their required documents as soon as possible to avoid forfeiture of prizes,” the statement read. Winners who fail to meet the October 29 deadline may no longer be eligible to claim their rewards.
