Bright lights, fresh produce, and the sound of lively conversations filled the halls of the World Trade Center in Pasay City as Agrilink, Foodlink, and Aqualink 2025 officially opened its doors to the public on October 2. The three-day event, running until October 4, is considered the largest and most anticipated agri-fishery trade show in the Philippines.
Farmers, fisherfolk, agripreneurs, students, and government partners from across the country gathered to explore innovations, attend free trainings, and discover locally made agricultural products.
One of the most visited areas at the venue is the booth of the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI). Visitors are welcomed with free educational materials and an impressive display of goods from ATI-accredited Learning Sites for Agriculture. These products—ranging from processed foods to fresh vegetables—are proudly sourced from farmer cooperatives across the country.
“We’re here not just to showcase our work but to connect directly with the people we serve,” said one ATI staff member. “This event is a celebration of our extension workers and the farmers they support every day.”
This year’s Agrilink coincides with the first-ever Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Month, as declared under Proclamation No. 753, s. 2024. The celebration aims to honor the vital role of extension workers in building a food-secure Philippines through knowledge sharing, innovation, and training.
With the theme, “One Goal, One Extension: Advancing Agriculture and Fisheries for a Food Secure Nation,” the event highlights the commitment of public and private sector partners to uplift rural communities and strengthen local food systems.
Throughout the three-day event, participants can attend seminars, demonstrations, and networking activities that promote best practices in farming, fisheries, and agribusiness. Many attendees also take the opportunity to support local producers by purchasing their products directly at the booths.
Organized annually, Agrilink has long served as a platform to bridge the gap between farmers and the latest agricultural technologies, while also helping small enterprises reach wider markets.
As the event continues until October 4, organizers encourage the public—especially young people and aspiring agripreneurs—to take part in shaping a more resilient and sustainable agricultural future.
