Heavy rains and strong winds from Typhoon Tino have forced some LANDBANK branches in Visayas and Mindanao to shorten hours or close entirely on November 3, 2025. Customers in affected areas are urged to prioritize safety and consider digital banking options.
Only a few branches will open until noon. These include Allen, Camotes Island, Catarman, and Ormoc branches. Meanwhile, numerous branches across Eastern and Western Visayas and Mindanao, such as Baybay, Borongan, Calbayog, Tacloban, Maasin, and Surigao City, will remain closed for the day.
LANDBANK reminded clients that all other branches not listed will operate on their regular schedules. Customers are encouraged to use LANDBANK’s digital platforms and ATMs, which continue to function normally, to avoid unnecessary travel during the typhoon.
The bank’s advisory comes as authorities monitor Typhoon Tino’s path, warning residents of heavy rainfall, flooding, and strong winds that could disrupt daily activities. Officials stress that staying informed and following safety protocols are crucial during extreme weather.
LANDBANK said the temporary closures and adjusted hours aim to ensure the safety of both customers and staff while maintaining essential banking services where possible. The bank will provide updates if the situation changes or if more branches are affected.
