Farmers, agriculturists, and veterinarians across the country are invited to join a three-day online learning event titled “Pamantayang Organiko: A Webinar Series on PNS for Organic Agriculture,” happening on November 4–6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. via Google Meet.
The Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS) announced that registration is now open and slots are limited. A total of 200 slots are available for licensed agriculturists, who can earn 8.0 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units, and 40 slots for licensed veterinarians, who will receive 1.5 CPD units upon completion. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The webinar aims to deepen participants’ understanding of the Philippine National Standards (PNS) for Organic Agriculture — guidelines designed to ensure food safety, animal welfare, and environmental sustainability in the farming industry.

The Bureau emphasized that the event is part of the Organic Agriculture Month celebration this November, supporting the national campaign to promote healthier, chemical-free, and sustainable farming practices.
Through this webinar, BAFS hopes to equip agriculture professionals with the latest standards and best practices in organic farming, helping local producers meet both domestic and international market requirements.
