As the country celebrates Organic Agriculture Month this November, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is inviting farmers, livestock raisers, and agriculture enthusiasts to join a series of free online webinars highlighting the latest technologies and best practices in organic farming.
Through these learning sessions, ATI hopes to encourage more Filipinos to shift toward sustainable and chemical-free farming systems that protect the environment, improve soil health, and ensure safer food for Filipino families. The observance of Organic Agriculture Month is guided by Presidential Proclamation No. 1030, series of 2015, which aims to promote and develop organic agriculture nationwide.
This year’s celebration focuses on emerging trends in organic livestock production and beekeeping, empowering participants with science-based techniques that they can apply in their farms or communities.
The webinars will run from November 12 to 13, 2025, featuring experts from the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) and its research centers:

The ATI emphasizes that organic production does not only improve farmers’ income but also promotes animal welfare and environmental protection.
The shift to organic agriculture has been steadily growing in the Philippines, with more farmers realizing the long-term benefits of producing crops and livestock without relying on synthetic fertilizers or harmful pesticides. It also aligns with the government’s vision for a more resilient and climate-smart food system under the Department of Agriculture’s “Masaganang Agrikultura, Maunlad na Ekonomiya” framework.
Interested participants are encouraged to register early through the provided links. Certificates of participation will be issued after each webinar.
As ATI continues to lead the way in agricultural education, it invites everyone to learn, engage, and take part in building a healthier and greener future through organic farming.
