For over 30 years, the Nueva Ecija Seed Grower Multipurpose Cooperative (NESGMPC) has played a key role in producing inbred rice seeds, helping strengthen the country’s food security while supporting livelihoods across multiple regions.
NESGMPC’s journey has not been without challenges. Financial constraints once limited the cooperative’s ability to expand and reach more farmers. Members gain access to technical training, financial literacy programs, and cooperative management guidance, helping them improve productivity and income while ensuring sustainable farming practices.
