Corn farmers and agriculture enthusiasts across the Philippines are invited to join a free online seminar that promises practical tips on using technology to improve farming decisions.
The seminar, titled From Field-level Data to Smarter Decisions: The iFARM System for Corn in Action, will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. It will be led by Dr. Ray A. Rodriguez, Agricultural Center Chief III at the DA-Regional Crop Protection Center in SOCCSKSARGEN. The session will be streamed via Streamyard and the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Agricultural Research’s (DA-BAR) official Facebook page.
Participants will learn how the iFARM system collects and analyzes field-level data to guide farmers in making informed decisions. The system helps monitor crop health, optimize fertilizer use, and improve overall productivity, turning real-time farm information into actionable strategies.
This initiative is part of DA-BAR’s ongoing effort to support farmers in adopting modern, data-driven methods that increase yields and profitability. Farmers from small to medium-sized farms are encouraged to attend, as the seminar will provide practical insights applicable to everyday farming challenges.
