In a heartwarming moment of pride and recognition, colleagues at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources–National Capital Region (DENR-NCR) gathered to celebrate the promotion of Engr. Henry P. Pacis to the position of Director III.
Known for his dedication and quiet leadership, Pacis has long been a respected figure within the agency, recognized for his strong commitment to environmental protection and public service. His promotion marks another milestone in a career built on years of hard work, integrity, and passion for sustainable development.
As Assistant Regional Director, Pacis played a vital role in advancing DENR-NCR’s key programs—ranging from urban greening projects and solid waste management to the rehabilitation of rivers and waterways across Metro Manila. His leadership helped strengthen partnerships between local governments, private sectors, and community volunteers in promoting a cleaner, greener, and more resilient capital region.
