Heavy rains and strong winds from Typhoon Tino have forced communities across Visayas and Mindanao to brace for disruptions. In response, the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) announced that several branches and branch-lite units (BLUs) will be temporarily closed today, November 4, 2025, to protect staff and customers.

Affected branches include major DBP locations in Antique, Bacolod, Bogo, Borongan, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Siquijor, among others. Meanwhile, the Taytay-Palawan Branch will operate on shortened hours from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. due to inclement weather.

Additionally, the Lucena Branch and Tayabas BLU are closed today in observance of their local holiday. All other DBP branches, BLUs, and the Financial Center remain open from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to continue serving clients.

DBP encourages customers to use digital banking services and ATMs, which remain operational, for safer transactions. The bank also provides 24/7 support for lost cards and urgent ATM concerns through their hotline numbers and online channels.

Officials remind the public to prioritize safety during the typhoon, avoid unnecessary travel, and secure important banking transactions digitally whenever possible. These measures aim to balance continued service with the safety of both employees and clients during severe weather.

For updates on branch operations, clients can check the official DBP website for the latest list of open branches and ATMs.
