Heavy rains, power outages, and earthquake risks forced several DBP branches across Luzon and Visayas to suspend or limit operations on Friday, October 3, 2025.

Residents heading to their local Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) branch may find closed doors today, as the bank adjusted its services to prioritize the safety of clients and staff.

Closed branches due to bad weather include:

  • DBP Cabarroguis

  • DBP Cauayan

  • DBP Ilagan

  • DBP Santiago

  • DBP Solano

  • DBP Tumauini Branch-Lite Unit (BLU)

Power outages also affected banking operations in Masbate:

  • DBP Masbate Branch

  • DBP Aroroy BLU

Meanwhile, DBP Bogo Branch in Cebu is closed today as a precaution after the recent earthquake in the area.

Two other branches—DBP Baguio and DBP Baler—will operate only until 12:00 noon today.

All other DBP branches, branch-lite units, and the DBP Financial Center remain open from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM to continue serving the public.

Customers are encouraged to check the updated list of open DBP branches online through the bank’s official website or contact their customer service for assistance.

For urgent concerns, especially lost cards and ATM-related issues, the DBP hotline is available 24/7 via:

  • Metro Manila: (02) 8-818-9511 loc. 2542 / 2580

  • Direct Line: (02) 8-812-6378

  • Toll-Free (nationwide): 1-800-10-327-8888

Despite the disruptions, DBP assures its clients of continued digital banking access and support while urging everyone to stay safe amid the ongoing weather disturbances.
